This book was a fun, cute and enjoyable read.
Its starts when Alicea takes over her friend's Boyfriend Whisperer business. A computer programmer, Alicea has designed the perfect dating match program destined to help her high school colleagues find their dating match with 99% accuracy. However after being dumped by the boy of her dreams, Alicea has to trust her own dating program even when the match it spits out for her makes absolutely no sense.
At first I wasn't mad about Alicea. She seemed really young for her age, maturity level wise, which i thought might affect the story however as we got her know her better through the story, she grew on me and I liked that she grew in the story also. I liked Darius from the get go, much more than Ty Walker and I liked the Chemistry between Alicia and Darius and the way it grew with their interractions, through out the book.
There were so many cute moments in this book, I found my self drawn into the story really quickly and way too soon i was turning the last pages. I loved that the way the author fleshed out the characters so we got to see many different facets of the characters such as Alicea and her dancing , Darius with his sister. Their made the characters and the story so much more real and mincreased my connection to the story as a whole.
Overall this was a really enjoyable and cute read that left me with a smile on my face and a soft spot in my heart for Alicea and Darius
I give this book 4 stars.

About The Boyfriend Whisperer 2.0
The Boyfriend Whisperer by Linda Budzinski
Publication Date: February 19, 2019
Publisher: Swoon Romance
Alicea Springer was Boyfriend Whisperer Enterprises’ top success story. That is, until her dream date, Ty Walker, dumped her a week before prom. Now it’s senior year, and Alicea has taken over the business and given it an upgrade using an automated matchmaking program designed to help her classmates find their perfect match.
Alicea has no interest in using the program herself. She already knows who her perfect match is … Ty. She doesn’t need an app to tell her that (or worse, match her up with someone else). In a moment of weakness, Alicea allows her friends to convince her to give the program a try. To her horror, it matches her with the last boy on earth she'd ever want to date — Darius Groves, the class deadbeat.
When she and Darius are paired up for a class project, Alicea learns there's more to him than his bad reputation. But the more she spends time with Darius, the more she questions their match. They have so little in common. Why did her program match them?
Can Alicea defy the odds and make a match of her own heart’s desire? Or will the matchmaker remained unmatched?

Review:
This was an incredibly sweet and enjoyable read. I picked it up late afternoon and was invested in the story from the first few pages. A few hours later, I had reached the end and had a smile on my face from the warm fuzzy feels of this book.
I immediately found both the main characters both likeable and easily relatable. I liked Riya's determination and sense of self and I understood Courtney's feelings of overwhelming pressure to follow a future she was not even sure she wanted and being terrified of what she was pretty sure she really wanted.
The story is told from two different view points - Riya and Courtney's, and this helped make the story work as we got to see two different sides of the same experience - finding one's self and exploring one's sexuality. On the one hand you had Riya content in her sexuality and supported in it by her family and friends where as Courtney is terrified of losing everything she has if she admits to anyone especially herself that she might be different. And I liked that we got to see both characters develop in themselves and grow throughout the story.
The story itself is quite sweet and simple however the way it is written is what caused me as a reader to invest in the story and the characters and it was the feels that it generated that were off the charts giving me no choice but to continue on to the end
While this is an LGBTQIA romance, it is first and foremost sweet, fun and romantic tale and definitely worth the read. I for one really enjoyed it and give it 3 1/2 stars

Review:
I always enjoy Alyxandra Harvey's writing. No matter the setting or storyline, whether it be ghosts, the faerie realm or shape shifting. I always know to expect something a little unexpected in her books and Love me, love me now is no exception
I immediately liked the main character Ana. Smart and focused on school but so naive out about love as she attempts to find it and win her wings. I thought Ms harvey captured that crush on the guy who doesn't know you exist and you are physically unable to speak coherently exceptionally well as well as Anna convincing her self that Edward is the boy for her. i like that we got to see Ana's vulnerability as she becomes aware that the feud in itself has become pointless but has no idea how to go about stopping it when adults and children alike are acting on a grudge that they have essentially been born with and despite Ana, herself being unable to be in the same room as a Renard without a physical fight breaking out. i thought her to be well balanced as a main character even though I sometimes wanted to yell at her for her naivete and indecision.
I loved the way Ms Harvey seemlessly wove the fairy tale of a shapeshifting swans and foxes through modern day life creating and urban fantasy that reads as authentic. I liked that despite the modern setting this still had the feel of a fairy tale. The story line itself was also woven well, with a few different plot lines coming together with precision time to leave a story I didn't want to put down until I reached the end a few hours later.
I also loved the connection between Ana and Pierce. Right from the beginning I could feel the chemistry and I wanted to yell at Ana and Pierce, particularly Ana the more they fought it. i read this on Valentines Day so was probably already in a romantic mood but I felt the romance between these two completely.
All in all, this was an enjoyable read and I give it 4 stars.

Review:
This book was an extremely enjoyable read
With a bit of slow burn to start as it found its groove, I found myself swept up in the story and out the other side quicker than I anticipated in the outset.
I liked the premise of this novel and was looking forward to seeing how it would play out. Thankfully I wasn't disappointed. The main character claire Intrigued me and i found myself like her in spite of myself. I like that we saw her struggle with reconciling her new identity with her old and I liked seeing the learning curve as she started to slowly develop into her new self.
The pace of the story was also good, I found myself moving along well and had finished the entire novel in a matter of hours which, for me, is a sign that the story was a good one. Ms Brouder's writing style flowed well, really keeping you involved in the story. I liked that i could lose myself in it for the most part.
I wasn't so sure about her relationship/crush with Chas as I really had no idea what she saw in him and if it comes down to it, I think I would be team Ari all the way. That being said, I thought her relationships with her family and co-workers etc were written really well and I could really feel the dynamics of those relationships, particularly with her mam and little brother, whereas Chas just left me with me with...Meh...
Over all I think this was a great start to a new series and am looking forward to see what happens in volume II .
I give this title 3 3/4 stars

ABOUT Michele Brouder
I was born in western New York, the oldest of 5. I've loved reading since I was very little. From the age of 9, I've wanted to be a writer. In high school, I wrote a lot of angst-ridden civil war dramas ala Gone With The Wind, knowing more about the Battle of the Bull Run than a normal teenager should know. I dabbled in writing after that but didn't get serious about it until 2006, when I decided that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I've had many interesting jobs but my passion has always been writing.
I lived in Ireland from 2006-2013 with my husband and 2 boys. We moved back to the US and settled in Florida briefly (2 years) before returning back to Ireland in August 2015.

Welcome today's stop on the Super Freak by Vanessa Barger Blog Tour presented by Tantrum Books and hosted by Chapter by Chapter. Today's stop is a review as well as a chance to enter the great giveaway that is being run throughout this tour.
Review:
There are some books that you know you are going to enjoy after reading the first couple of pages. Super Freak is one of those books.
For a start the whole premise of a normal girl being the odd one out in a world of paranormals is a nice take on the usual paranormal story and I was interested to see how this would pan out.
I instantly liked the main character Caroline. She was smart, down to earth and instantly likeable.
I knew I was going to like this story within the first few pages and my faith in the book and the story was completely justified. I flew quickly through this book eating up every word anjoy the mystery that unfolded.
After Caroline finds out that her new house is supposedly cursed, she and her new friends set out to find out more and try to solve the mystery behind the curse. Vanessa Barger writes the mystery well, pacing the finding of the clues out nicely whilst slowly building up the tension and it was fun trying to figure out the mystery.
I greatly enjoyed this book and think it is a perfect example of a well written middle grade book that can also appeal to other readers outside of the middle grade age group. I. myself am well out of the middle grade age bracket but not only did I enjoy it but I liked that it still had that great middle grade feel and it is a book that I would definitely give to my daughter to read once she gets a little older.
I immensely enjoyed this book and give it 4 stars.
