My Review:

The first Gayle Forman book I ever read was If I Stay and to my astonishment was suddenly at the top of my list for one the best reads of 2015. So whilst I was eagerly looking forward to reading Where She Went, and even though it may have been mentioned the this second book *might possibly be better*, I didn't actually think anything could top If I Stay

I could not have been any more wrong! Where She Went was sheer...and utter... perfection! And I don't use that phrase lightly, or, well, ever. But I need to for this book.

Set three years after the events of If I Stay, this story is seen through the eyes of Adam Wilde, Mia's now ex-boyfriend. In the last three years, he has gained the fame and recognition that he always thought he wanted but the accident that wiped out Mia's family has had lasting effects on a lot of people including Adam is not happy despite the fame and fortune and he hasn't seen or heard from Mia in almost as long.

Then he find himself in New York, alone, outside the concert hall where Mia is due to play that night...

Told in the same alternate flashback and present style of If I stay, the reader cannot help but be invested in the story right from the beginning as the writing brings back all the emotions of the first story and then multiplies by infinity.

There is just something about Gayle Forman's style of writing that really puts the reader in to the characters head so we cannot help but feel everything they are feeling as they move through this story.

And the story itself is exquisitely told and is everything I wanted it to be.

This story is all about the feels and I dare you to read this novel and not feel anything.

I loved absolutely everything about this novel and have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars!!
